I had the opportunity to spend yesterday with Miss “E” at one of my favorite locations. Despite the heat (thanks for putting up with it mom!) we had a fun afternoon filled with smiles, drawing, bubble blowing and hide and seek. (Miss “E” is a great finder! :)) Here’s a little sneak peek so far. Mom, I’ll be in touch when the rest are finished!
I posted a while back about the incredible event that I photographed - the Girls on the Run 5K race in West Potomac Park. Truly inspiring! I had the pleasure of spending the morning with these two cuties! (And mom and dad. :)) The little one wasn’t too sure about this whole picture thing but she quickly warmed up when the Smarties came out! They kept me laughing with all their little words like the “farkle” (sparkle) lotion they had on. And they were very proud of their bubble gum pink toes. Too cute!

Woo-hoo! The rain finally stopped and I was able to get some sessions in this week! The first was with the lovely Miss “L” who is a senior this year. We had a great time (even with the soggy grass!) And check out these gorgeous eyes!

I was so excited to be a part of the Girls on the Run 5K race at West Potomac Park in DC yesterday. What an inspiring start to Mother’s Day! There were over 700 runners registered and the energy and excitement in the air was incredible! Thank you to Emily of Emily Weiss Photography who asked me to help out again. We also had Suzanne Behsudi of Suzanne Behsudi Photography joining our team. Between the three of us, we have lots of images to dig through! Be sure to check back for more highlights and a slideshow. My daughter recently said, “I thought it was April showers bring May flowers? It’s May and it’s still raining!” It seems like it been raining for 2 weeks straight around here. I keep thinking when the sun finally makes an appearance again, we will have beautiful green grass and flowers. I’m trying to look on the bright side - but this wet weather is starting to get a little old! To those sessions I’ve had to reschedule because of the weather - thank you for your patience and understanding. I promise to make your session worth the wait! :)
